The Terrace
Joe came to HopeStreet as a volunteer at the Sunday morning "Street Breakfast" in Woolloomooloo and then began hanging around afterwards for the Woolloomooloo Baptist Fellowship service. He discovered a place that not only showed hospitality, but also love, acceptance and real grace. He began meeting with the fellowship regularly and volunteered at the Terrace, which is HopeStreet's Homeless Accommodation and Outreach program. He is now the part time residential care worker there and enjoys the honor of being part of the journey these residents are on, celebrating their steps towards independence and freedom.
